Procrastination

I want you to think about something for a minute. When is the last time you put something off that you dream about doing? Maybe you want to write a book, hike a mountain, or start a side business and every time you think about doing it you get excited.⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ But then, you said "I'll do it later" and then later became tomorrow, tomorrow became next week.. Then you looked up, months later you still had done... NOTHING ⁣⠀ It's important to keep the promises you make to yourself because they are directly correlated with your confidence and how much you value yourself.✍🏾

Understanding that, literally, everything is energy, let's look at it from an energetic perspective. What energies are you communicating with your environment with when you procrastinate? 🤔 What are you communicating to the world and universe when you procrastinate?

What you're saying to the universe is that "I don't want to reach my goals, right now. I'll do it tomorrow."

Or how about, "I don't want to be successful, right now. I'll do it next week."

What cents does it make to essentially postpone your success?

Why would you hold off your increase?

Listening to those little negative thoughts in your head will have you waiting & waiting & waiting, coming up with another excuse as to why you can start now. ⁣⠀ It’s not easy. Those thoughts are very powerful. But there’s one thing that will help build confidence and breakdown resistance: ACTION ⁣⠀ We talk a lot about taking action at Lancorp Digital. I mean, nothing happens without it.⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ So if you plan to write a book, hike a mountain, or start a business… START!⁣⠀🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ ⁣⠀ It doesn’t matter if you feel like it, you won’t. It doesn’t matter if it’s as good as you envisioned it to be, it won't be.⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ But over time, it will get better and easier.⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Think about something you have been procrastinating getting done. Make a promise that today, you’ll start. Don’t let your little negative voice beat you out of what's for you.

Even with me and this blog post. It has sat in my drafts for 3 months. Why? Because I didn't think it was good enough. But, today I said, "I've wasted enough time. Let's just get it out there." So I'm here! You have something that's been on your to do list for months. Take action with confidence. You still have time to start this year off with a BANG! 💥
